Anna Benson (born 1976 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American model and the wife of Major League Baseball player Kris Benson.
She has been featured in FHM magazine (which called her "Baseball's Hottest Wife") and appeared topless with her husband in Penthouse in 2001. In 2004, she controversially remarked in jest on Howard Stern's radio show that she would have sex with all members of the New York Mets organization (whom her husband was playing for at the time) if he were ever to have an affair. In 2005, she began playing professional poker under the nickname "Gold Digger".
Some think she is the reason why Kris was traded from the Mets to Orioles for the 2006 season. In an interview with Bill O'Reilly on March 21, 2006, the Fox News commentator asked her whether she thought comments suggesting that a former Mets teammate was unpatriotic had anything to do with the trade. She opined that it was strictly a business decision. She also stated that she intends to continue being her own person and not make any special effort to fit the "baseball wife" stereotype, of someone who (as O'Reilly suggested) just sits around and watches her husband play baseball, a kind of non-activity which Benson reiterated would "drive her crazy".
On March 30, 2006, Anna filed for divorce from Kris, stating the the marriage is "irretrievably broken."

Famous to Infamous
The Bone Pile
April 1, 2006
Welcome back T-Boners. My apologies for the extra time between
columns. It has been a very busy week with work and all of my
extracurricular activities. It's no excuse, so I'll try harder next time.
Brad Paisley has a great song that really captures Hollywood these days.
It is called "Celebrity" and it talks about how celebrities, whether they are A
list or D list, have their own code of conduct. This code of conduct seems
to be a bit more lax and I want to share a few examples and speculate on a
few things about it.
I heard this week that Naomi Campbell was charged
for assaulting her former maid with her cell phone.
The maid required 4 stitches to the back of her
head. This is not the first incident that Campbell
has had. In 2000, she plead guilty to hitting her
personal trainer with a telephone. Make a note: If
Naomi looks pissed and she's got a phone, run for
the hills.
Dave Chappelle took stage left to Africa for months because he couldn't
handle the pressures of his TV show that generated millions of dollars for
himself and Comedy Central. This put Comedy Central in a bind and many
questioned the future of the show. Let me put this in perspective. This is
about the equivalent of you heading out of town/state/country because
your job is too stressful. So you no show for weeks/months and people
think you are missing. When you resurface, would you expect the world
and your employer to just understand what you were going through and
say everything's ok? If I'm Comedy Central, I'd be blackballing Chappelle
and suing him for breach of contract.
Tom Cruise is the prototype for celebrities who feel they can act anyway
they please. I don't need to remind anyone of his actions on Oprah. In
fact, I believe Scary Movie 4 will be doing a
parody of that moment in history. It has been
recently reported that he went to Paramount,
who owns Comedy Central, and threatened
that if Comedy Central re-aired the South Park
episode making fun of him and Scientology, he
would refuse to promote Mission Impossible
3. The beauty of South Park is that they make
fun of anyone and everything. They don't
discriminate. But Cruise took major offense to
the stab at him (people begging him to come
out of the closet) and Scientology. This
episode is also said to be the reason Isaac Hayes (the voice of Chef) is
leaving the show. Hayes didn't seem to have a problem putting down
Mormons, Jews, Catholics, any Protestant faith, Muslims, Hindus,
Buddhists, or any other religion for that matter. But when South Park took
a stab at his own beliefs, he said they crossed the line. Total Hypocrite.
Danny Bonaduce is a walking maniac. If anyone has ever seen even one
episode of Breaking Bonaduce, you know what I am talking about. He
snaps in every single episode. I have never met a person that is even half
as unstable at him. His wife was at a bachelorette party for her friends (or
something like that, it was a while ago) and he heard there was going to be
a male stripper. He tracked her down and was threatening to kick the door
down. He has threatened the producer of the show numerous times on
camera. He's just nuts. But it equals ratings for the network so they let it
slide.
Anna Benson, a person who shouldn't even be famous, has made
headlines this week. She is divorcing her husband of 7 years, Kris
Benson, pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles. I guarantee if Benson had not
been traded and they were still in New York this season, they would still be
married. I think she feels like she'd do better as a D list celebrity in LA or
NYC than a pitcher's wife in Baltimore. The only reason she is famous is
because when Kris was traded to the Mets a few years ago, she made a
statement that if Kris ever cheated on her, she'd sleep with every one of
his teammates. There's a comment to raise one's eyebrows. She's pretty,
but not drop dead gorgeous. But this one comment helped her get
magazine spreads and small, nonspeaking roles in films.
These are just a few examples of recent happenings. I think most of these
guys are spoiled and live in their own fantasy world. They feel like they are
above anyone else and the world answers to them. They are also
attention whores and seek any type of attention they can get. None of
these people would be shit if they didn't have help and support of all of
those surrounding them. None of them would be important if they turned
us off so much that we decided not to support their films. My girlfriend
refuses to watch anything with Russell Crowe because he's such a
pompous ass. I know that it would be a stretch to get everyone to ban an
actor/actress/athlete/musician because they suck as a person. Three
million plus Cowboys fans hated Terrell Owens' guts for the past 7 years.
Eighty thousand Owens' Cowboys jerseys were sold the day after he
signed with Dallas.
Sometimes just being an ass isn't enough. They know people will still
support them and their projects. Most of them get probation or reduced
sentences or even no penalty at all for breaking the law. But as Paisley
said in his song, "When you're a celebrity, it's adios reality. You can act
just like a fool and people think you're cool, just because you're on TV".
Amen brother. It is BS, but unfortunately, that's the way it works. So tune
into your Hollywood news and see where the next celebrity breakdown
occurs and notice that nothing happens because of it.
Until next time, throw up a "T" for...
T-BONE!

Russell Crowe got into a bit of trouble
last year by ripping a phone off of a
wall and throwing it across a hotel
lobby. He hurled it at a hotel
employee because he felt the guy
wasn't doing all he could to help him
reach his wife. Seriously, who the
hell does he think he is? It is
reported that as good as he is on
camera, many directors will not work
with him because he is such a prick
and too moody to work with.

Dante Daniel Bonaduce (born August 13, 1959 in Broomall, Pennsylvania) is an actor and disc jockey. He originally gained recognition by starring in the television series The Partridge Family from 1970 to 1974.
Danny Bonaduce played the role of wisecracking Danny Partridge in the 1970s series. He was a good match for Dave Madden who played the Partridge Family manager.
As an adult, he has had a successful career as a radio announcer and co-host of The Other Half, a daytime talk show positioned as a complementary show to The View. He was very successful at WLUP in Chicago. Later, Danny hosted weekday mornings in Detroit at WKQI then flying to Chicago for afternoons at WLUP. Then in Los Angeles co-hosting the morning drive-time show on Star 98.7 FM (KYSR) with Jamie White. He is a frequent guest on the Loveline radio program.
In 2001 he released his autobiography, Random Acts of Badness.
Bonaduce filed suit against Jamie White on September 28, 2005 for allegedly slandering him on air while he was in rehab. He claims she lied about him showing up to work under the influence of drugs. Bonaduce claims he was never under the influence of drugs while at work. The outcome is still pending.
He is currently the star of Breaking Bonaduce, a celebreality show on VH1, and has appeared on Howard Stern's Howard 100. On his Sirius Radio show he announced that serious talk is being done for a full time show on Howard 100.
